sxi vs sxr

is there a big diffrence in handling and weight between the 96 sxi and the new 04 and new sxr

There is a HUUUUUGE difference in handling....and I'm guessing the SXR weighs more too.

sxi weighs 329 and has 75hp. sxr weighs 351 and has 80hp. sxr is wider and longer which makes it more stable....much easier to ride. the specs should be somewhere on kawasakis web site.

it is like the diff. between a horse and a car
they can't be compared really except that the motors look similar and they both come stock with the same crappy handpole

the sxi would be faster top end, and is very skidish. Doesn't handle well at all for racing, but for freestyle fun it's the better ski IMHO. The SXR handles beautifully around the race corse.

SXR handles better than sxi. It's better than the sxi in everything except maybe flatwater freestyle.

i would have guessed there would be a bigger difference in weight.
