Sxr 1100 no start problem need help

Ok a friend of mine just built his sxr 1100 and when all said and done the thing won't start. It has plenty of spark compression is good and it is getting fuel. Even when he tried starting fluid it wouldn't even cough or burp we are both confused any help would be great.

You need spark, compression, fuel and timing for a motor to run

Sounds like you need to look at timing ?

How old is that crankshaft? Check if it's outta phase?

I was helping a friend of it was a complete all new internals. It ended up being a loose connection on the cdi. Thanks for all that chimed in.
