Wamiltons use to make one I think. Trinity had one of the best, but I dont know if they are even still around after Bobby sold it.

A stock hood with the liner removed is almost the same weight. Most of the weight saving is in removing the fire extinguisher lol. The stock hoods are SMC.
i have a new carbon blowsion. needs painting as they come gelcoated.

It is crazy how much the hood weighs on an 800! I should weigh it..

I weighed my stock cut hood today. It's 16 pounds.

I'm guessing that is without the fire extinguisher.

After market hoods don't count it either. An aftermarket carbon hood only saves 5 pounds over a stocker. 11 pounds was the claim by Trinity Composites.I'm guessing that is without the fire extinguisher.
