Sxr factory pipe in Kawasaki super chicken

Hi, I have a kawasaki super chicken that I'm thinking off dropping a sxr engine in. I'm also thinking of installing a sxr factory pipe to go with the 800cc motor. Will the sxr factory pipe fit in the Kawasaki superchicken engine bay? Does the stock Kawasaki sxr exhaust fit? Thank you

The stock exhaust MIGHT fit, but youll have to figure out how to route the exhaust that comes off the chamber. The Wetpipe will not fit unless you figure out how to run the exhaust backwards.

Should I use the 650 exhaust then? Will that work with the sxr engine? Should I use an aftermarket 650 exhaust instead? Which aftermarket 650 exhaust would work with the sxr engine the best? Thank you

Your best option would probably be to find a coffman or factory pipe out of a 750 sitdown. That is what a lot of us run.

Should I look for a zxi 750 aftermarket exhaust for example? Is there a particular Kawasaki sit down model that has an aftermarket exhaust that fits in a super chicken? What exhaust are your running currently?

something out of a 750 ss, ssxi, or sts should be good to go. Not sure about a zxi, but im sure that would work to. Some of them require the chamber to be shortened when putting into a super chicken, but its an easy task.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.
Would the sxr engine work with the stock 650 exhaust or would that restrict it too much?

Finding one for sale is the hard part. Price is difficult to pin down since they are rather rare, but i would expect $300 and up.
TS exhaust is direct fit in a SC. Im running a Coffman pipe and box in mine.
You may need to use a 650 mani on the 800 thought
So to complete the conversion, i need to use the 650 manifold on the 800 engine and combine that with a TS aftermarket exhaust? What else do I need to look out for with the 800 engine swap? Any other important changes I need to make to the SC to install and run the 800 engine?
