SXR fuel tank

im trying to remove my fuel tank and im having trouble i removed the flywheel cover, throttle cable bracket and air box and im still having trouble any help would be appreciated

Pretty sure you going to need to remove the exhaust too.
Might want to pull the motor. It makes it alot easier

I have seen them removed with the exh out with the engine in, but I couldn't figure it out. Jetskimobile did it on my ski with the exh out and motor completely together in about 15 seconds. He twisted the tank sideways, but I really wasnt watching. Sorry

your only a few bolts away from pulling the motor and saven yourself the head act

If you loose bolts on top motor monts you can slide motor back about 1''. I did take tank off but how I did it don't know. you have to play with it

Just pull the motor. Easier than what you have done so far...

6 hoses
4 bolts
2 cables
4 wires
and 1 screw

You can keep the exhaust and carbs on it...use the exhaust as a handle to pull er out.
