Hey guys looking for an aftermarket handle pole. Preferably an ac, umi, or. rrp. I'm 6ft2 230ib. Which one do you think would fit me best. Thanks

BTW: to give an answer, AC is the only one that bolts right up. Anything else and you're doing some kind of SJ to SXR conversion. X-Metal is good too, adjustable, there's several on here that have good things to say about the X-metal on an SXR

I run the x-metal adjustable on my SXR and I love it. I have the RRP billet on my ROK and I'm very happy with it now that it is installed and adjusted correctly. I can't comment on the others as I've never run them but both I have transfer well from ski to ski and are fully adjustable to how you want it. If you want something that you can upgrade with I would def recommend rrp or x-metal

The replacement AC pole for the kawasaki.

Actually the UMI or the RRP will bolt right up with the proper bushings. They have been designed to run the SXR cable on the left side.

The AC or oem superjet pole (yamaha based) will need to be opened up to clear the steering cable.

You will need to change out your steering plate and chinpad unless you use the ac replacement pole.

OK, maybe I should clarify what I meant. AC Kawi pole you wont have to adapt the steering like you would with a UMI.

If you gonna be buying from X-metal remember all their poles already -2" fully extended. If you want standard leight you have to tale them and it will cost you I think $150 extra and week or two extra time. But other then that it's a great pole. Another one I like - Dale's pole. Comes with chin pad and direct replacement for OEM. But you can get it standard or -2", it's not adjastable

Dales pole= good stuff. bolts right up.
UMI= broke 3 of em.
X Metal= I like em..mine has been bullet proof. REALLY prefer the SJ steering to Kawi steering.
AC Kawi= ugly but bulletproof.
AC Yami= the only pole I have ever heard of that NObody has broken
RRP too heavy for an already heavy Kawi and expensive.

If I had it to do over, I'd get an X metal adjustable or an AC Yamaha -2. Even being tall, you will like the shorter pole...more agressive riding style.

So i found an x-metal pole kit for an sxr on fastelements.com for $640... Is this a good deal? Anyone bought from there before? Sounds like its a complete kit ready to bolt on... Anyone have pics of their sxr with an x-metal pole installed on it? Any advice would be great
