I recently purchased basically a sxr minus the hull. I have the handle pole and hood just not the hull itself. Anyone trying to sell one or know of anyone trying to sell one? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Have you given any thought to a light weight after market hull? Just sayin it sounds like your at the perfect point to spend just a couple dollars more now and get a good used light weight hull. Material lay up would be determined by what you are looking to do (surf or flat water).

But thats kind what Freerider912 is getting at. Lightweight SXR huls shaves 100+ lbs off the weight and is way stronger than any stock SXR hull. Makes your motor "feel bigger" and will not break. You are very close to Bullet, why not stop by and talk to Rusty. I had a Bullet hull and was very very happy with it.

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]The Trinity ES shaves more than 70 lbs, comes with OEM pump shoe installed, dual cooling, trim tube, one scupper valve, footholds and hood with OEM hood seal and can be bought in -2, -4, or -6.
$4999. Love mine, makes it a lil lighter than a stock superjet.

Tiger craft also sells lightweight hulls in any length, turfed with pump shoe for 4k. Its amazing the acceleration increase you get from a hull 80lbs lighter than a stocker

A new Bullet in Glass was $4500 when I had mine. Carbon/Kevlar Trinity price has been lowered to $7500 last I checked Bobby's website. The Trinity can be ordered in a minus version(mine is a -2) I don't think the Bullet can.
Bullet can also be ordered minus what ever you want. I have 2 minus -2 here and Chris has a minus -2 also

I were gonna buy a new "glass" sxr I would go back to the Bullet. For a Carbon/Kevlar hull I think I would stay Trinity. FWIW

What do you think are the advantages of the bullet? I have always considered Bobby the king of composite layups....I know mine does not have 1 stress crack after 3 years of total abuse and neglect and the foam is still bone dry.
Haven't heard of too many other hulls that have held up that well.....except other Trinitys. I'm not saying one is better than the other because I haven't seen a Bullet.....so you'll have to let me know if you think there are advantages.

Rusty has been building hulls for a long time so no question on his layup ability. The Bullet Gen 1.5 I had was more predictable and consistent than others I've ridden. Built in tubbies and a "trued" bottom deck made me look and feel like a better rider. Fit and finish was the same as Trinity imo (way better than other builders including OEM) exception being the Bullet hood might be a tad nicer.Glass full lenght version doesnt weigh much more than others - hulls. Easier to control with a shortened D cut plate than others I have ridden. You gotta try one, they ride real nice, seems most race winners are on a Bullet.

I'm selling my 2005 hull and hood with title. I am sending pics to a guy in Michigan, though I am taking offers. Price depending on level of hull completion. Going Trinity.........

Text me email address and I will send pics as soon as I can.

Thanks!
