SXR Sxr impeller with bored nozzel

freestyle pump cone about $50
different pitch of a prop
but if you want better performance and are willing to spend the money, slap some exhaust on it and a lightweight flywheel. then mill your head down.

Yep, the stock prop is excellent. I wouldn't mess with it. 9 years later and I still run it.

Factory Wet pipe, lightened flywheel.

Handling mods: superjet steering and handlepole, footholds.

Wetpipe doesnt put out as much HP but it still rips. I have it on my ski and it really woke it up quite a bit from stock. The dry pipe from what Ive read is less durable and you have to mod the hood to allow it to fit.

Plus if you look at the classified ads youll see people trying to trade away their dry pipe for a wetpipe but you never see it vise versa.

...Wetpipe FTW

I run the wet-pipe, timing plug, tbm charging flywheel, tbm intake grate, drilled stock w/b jet flow valve, stock impeller, 82.5mm nozzel. pulls hard everywhere. very fun ski to ride.

What he said.... OEM prop is good, pipe and flywheel are the big hitters for an SXR.

You dont see as many flywheels because they aren't race legal.

why arent the flywheels race legal? and the only reason i would change the stock impeller is becasue its a big very heavy. in my x2 i run the same flywheel with a skat c75. 2.35lbs had dave work it some.

Good question... that is just what I read on here.... only for certain limited/stock class its not legal

I know swapping the SXR flywheel is much more effective than swapping an SJ one.
