How do I remove the impeller housing? What tools do I need I have everything unbolted from the hull. I just can't seem to get the empeller shaft to loosen up. Does the impeller shaft have to be hooked up to the motor to loosen it? It has been already removed. Any help would be great. Thanks people!

Make sure your intake grate and both hoses are disconnected and tap, tap, tap with a heavy dead blow hammer and she'll come free. It's probably the rubber seal between the pump housing and the hull pump tunnel holding it in.

Small ish flat screw driver by the thru hull fittin slide it against it and it usually does the job . Breaks the seal
