SXR SXR re-build

My 06 sxr was running great until it fried the electronics. I hate the e box
and want to go total loss. I pulled my stuff yesterday because I wanna re- build the motor and go msd. I have some questions like what do i need for an msd set up besides thr total loss fly wheel. Pictures to come with this rebuild.

haha couldnt pull the ski up on the beach or into a garage to pull the engine? Was that difficult to pull everything on the lift?

Not at all only took me about 20 minutes to have everything apart.

Pulled the mototr apart today, found a little scuffing on the front piston. No metal anywhare no other damage, it was time to freshen up the top end anyway. Stator cover off and im working on pulling the flywheel next. Got my hands on a total loss set up providing the deal dosent fall through. Pictures to fallow.

Heres a picture of the front piston, i cant figure out what could have happened.

I am going to the machine shop today to see how much to bore .5mm over. I also won my MSD ingnition system and will have that hopfully next week.
