Rebuilt my SXR motor, all new gaskets, bored over 1mm, I had some electrical issues last summer so I got a new stator, all new wires, e box was new as well. Ski fired right up, ran great for a few minutes and then just died. When I hit the start button nothing happens. Tried a new start button not the issue, it has a new starter and new battery, now if I move the driveshaft by hand it will make a very weak crank sound. I'm wondering if when I put the new stator in or the pick up it was not tight and moved or if its possible the flywheel key has fallen out, anyone have any of these issues? I have the motor out and am currently taking it apart to get to the flywheel cover (I have an ada head with the girdle kit since I run a dry pipe)

this might be too simple, but did you check the fuse in the Ebox?

Yea, found the issue, stator came off the cover and ripped the wires apart. The bolts that hold the stator to the flywheel cover broke, not sure how that happened but long story short im looking for a new stator and a new flywheel cover.
