The Jetting from FPP is pretty spot on. I think it may be a tad rich but the SXR's like alot of fuel. I would work with your adjustment screws on the pipe. Also, I would ditch the jumper and go with an actual timing plate. With a plate you get 6-7 degrees of advance where-as the jumper is 4 degree's +/-.

2.0 needle/seat, 155 lo, 90 high, thats with stock exhaust, timing advance (which is awesome on the sxr) and stock impeller, pump stuffer kit, rd plate/grate oh and flame arrestors. whats it doing?

Dome size on the JSU? 27 or 28cc's? Id try the needle and seat, if that doesnt do it go with an aftermarket ignition. I got My sxr better than most for bottom end hit, without porting, etc, but never really got it to snap on the bottom. Hence why I changed skis, but Rpm's are your friend, keep it rev'ed up. If you look at the polaris and SXR motor platforms, they prefer the midrange to bottom end. Learn to keep brapping it and keep the nose trimmed up and light, restrict your water to the box and keep it cleaned out :)

Yup, if racing, back on the gas as soon as you make a turn, especially a tight one. Certain turns only require to just reverse blip the throttle to set the nose. (Instead of grabbing gas, you let off for just a second and then pin it again). The SXR carries speed pretty good and can recover really quick from a short off throttle blip.

i think the ski is loading up down low, off jumps when it lands it bogs down and takes a few seconds at WOT pull to clear it.

the JSU head has the 28cc domes.
how should i set the adjustment screws, same as superjet?

jaxrider, how were the results?

thanks guys

test ride went very well. the one thing i noticed is the engine runs alot smoother at idle. it pulls good right off the bottom. I idled aroung for a few minutes to see if it would load up but it seems like it is dialed in. I am running low speed adjust about one turn out & the high speed at 1 1/4 turn out. engine specs- ada head 28cc,factory pipe, reed spacers, v-force reeds, ported cases, stock carbs with choke plates removed. I am going to install a jetworks flow control & test that today.
