Anyone ever sync there carbs? Makes a noticeable difference in throttle response on motorcycles.......maybe its not worth the trouble on jetskis? If anyones done it, what did you do add vacuum ports to your intake manifolds?

Loosen your couplers. Loosen idle screw. Let both butterflies close 100%. Tight set screws on carbs. Raise your idle. If you have OEM duals, the turn idle out. Then uses the OEM syncing screw between carbs. This is very easy to do and can actually solve a lot of carb problems.

That is a pretty cool tool Ryan, who makes it? I wonder how accurate it is compared to a traditional set of carb sync gauges..... have you ever had the chance to compare it with a set?

Do you need to sync every time you take of the carbs, like when you rebuild them?

Yes, and periodically as a maintenance item. I am sure the way big kahuna describes gets them pretty close but not as precise as using a gauge, since the vacuum pull could vary a lot between the cylinders.
