Due to complaints from various riders, the ever popular RonnyMac designed logo featuring the pseudo-Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader will not be gracing our shirts with her presence (or is it..."presents" :biggrin: ). I think someone is just hating on America's Team. :biggrin:

Pleaes do not shoot the messenger. I am merely delivering the result of many hours of heated conversation behind the scenes.

The girlie logo will be available as stickers to place on your truck, car, ski, camper, funmover, pitbike, zuma, golfcart, arse, or on whatever place your heart desires.

Instead - the following logo will be on the back of the shirt:

I'm going to lock down the other t-shirt thread. Please re-order shirts in this thread.

Shirts will be light gray Hanes Beefy-T's with the logo above on the back.

I believe that the "shield" logo will be on the front again.

System Inertia
System inertia must be included in the selection of an MDrive and Planetary
Gearbox. Inertia is the resistance an object has relative to changes in velocity.
Inertia must be calculated and matched to the motor inertia. The Planetary
Gearbox ratio plays an important role in matching system inertia to motor
inertia. There are many variable factors that affect the inertia. Some of these
factors are:
The type of system being driven.
Weight and frictional forces of that system.
The load the system is moving or carrying.
The ratio of the system inertia to motor inertia should be between 1:1 and
10:1. With 1:1 being ideal, a 1:1 to 5:1 ratio is good while a ratio greater than
5:1 and up to 10:1 is the maximum.
Type of System
There are many systems and drives, from simple to complex, which react
differently and possess varied amounts of inertia. All of the moving components
of a given system will have some inertia factor which must be included
in the total inertia calculation. Some of these systems include:
❐ lead screw
❐ rack and pinion
❐ conveyor belt
❐ rotary table
❐ belt drive
❐ chain drive
Not only must the inertia of the system be calculated, but also any load that it
may be moving or carrying. The examples below illustrate some of the factors
that must be considered when calculating the inertia of a system.

I agree, that logo is aweful, just aweful....

it looks so cheesy.... I really can't believe people pushed this to the point where you guys ended up w/ that mess...

I think it's a bad idea to cater to people who no nothing about style or art and/or what is popular.

Ronny's logo was 100 X more professional and appropriate for what we are doing at these rides... Hot women are about these rides and this aint no Church function...

HA HA HA.....

Slutty.. are you even going to be at the LSFR or are you just voicing your opinion to be heard. Just wanted to clarify if it was a rant or if was valid cuz you were actually vested in the ride. Not starting anything, just asking. I just hate to see people get flamed for no reason other than just cuz.

I know some of the behind the scenes details but definitely not all of them. It was mostly never about the Chick. Some changes like date and location were requested on Ronnie's design but shot down. That combined with the other raised concerns about the Chick initiated a redesign.

The person who did the design for the ride asked for quite a bit of input. They were asked to do it and I think did a pretty good job. Its not something done a mad skilled professional but given the situation and resources available, its not awful as stated. I'll wear one and get some decent comments, no doubt.

I think this all could have been avoided if there was a bit more communication and input from the riders was taken into consideration. Too bad.

Is it f'ing March yet??!!!
