Tablerock ride this summer, anyone in?

Combs ferry has been closed for more than 15 years.. Guys we are still going to get a freeride set up just give us some time. Now if you want to come down and ride with us your are welcome anytime, we are located close to the dam and the best parks to stay at would be Hwy 86 campground, State Park, Indian Point, or Long creek campground. My favorite is Hwy 86 because they have so many sites right on the water. Be sure and yell at any of us on the Southwest Mo. group forum so we can get together and ride.

Time to get this going guys.......

pick a weekend, looks most of the campsites are already reserved every weekend for the next 2 months

Yeah thats the place. Lots of RV's, not sure if there are any sites which are ONLY primitive camping.

according to the website:

Old Highway 86 Campground offers 71 campsites, 31 sites have electric and water hookups, and 40 have electric hookups. Additional amenities include a basketball court, boat launch, dump station, a playground, hot showers, a swimming area, a volleyball court, and picnic shelters.

86 is an awesome place to stay in general for a weekend, not just for the freeride. We always stayed there before buying a place. With it being a penninsula, you can stay on the water and have your ski right at your site in the water. Just get on and ride not even a no wake zone to have to contend with that way; just by the boat launch area and beach.

Will anybody be down there on the 4th of July? I am going to be there...just haven't decided if I will be bringing the standup or not.

We are there every weekend just accross the lake, there is at least 10-15 of us there so bring your ski I will be there friday through mon. on the 4th weekend

Oh well, summer is nearing the end, Kids go back to school in 3 weeks I think, and both of my skis are out of service.
