I bought a bunch on ebay a while back

I ordered a bit of stainless steel plate, I plan on just gluing to the bottom of the hull and put a couple of layers of 7oz 2x2 CF over it, drill and tap. Then I ordered some used OEM yamaha strap hooks off eBay. Still not sure if this is the direction im going, not up to that part yet.

does anyone make a double sided strap hook? like holds two straps has one hole.

I used stainless tee nuts with the barbs.

There may be a better way to do the job, but this is how I did it...

Cover the back with painters tape and cut the tape with an exacto knife so it only covered the hole.
Pack the threads with wax.
Put down a piece of glass about 3" diameter. Cover the tee but with 2-3 layers of glass flush so the top of the nut and the barbs stick through.
Cover the nut with epoxy putty so barbs are covered.
Allow dry
Grind the putty flush to the top of the nut, and grind away excess putty so only the diameter of the barb.
Remove wax.

If you use the kawi style like in my picture, there are double sided versions. I think on the x2 one of them held the tank and the battery, or something. I have 1 or 2 like it. I could post a picture later but not sure what it is from.

I've got some from some Kawi ss skis that I had. Each one has a pair of them. Can't remember what they hold but I open up and put in proper size straps for the application and then close them back up so you don't have to worry bout them coming loose behind the tank whole you're putting it in.
