Tanker wave skiing

I like the face on the other waves for what we do. Those Tankersurfcatcher waves look way out with no beach to make them break. I want land nearby if something goes wrong. Not that my skies ever break. LOL. So, when are we going? We could always head back to the port A channel too. The fishing boats gave us some insane waves with good shape. It wasn't too far around the jetty either.

Dang dude.....just the word tanker makes me wet...ha ha!
This is coming from someone that rides Tug boats on a weekly basis.
I can only imagine the size of that wake.....ehem!....wave, is a wave at that point.
Make sure you strap your cameras and get some footage.
This thing is endless!

dang that is a longg wake but benny you really think those are bigger then the tugs in the estuary? i mean that tanker wake was bigg but ive come up to a 8-9 foot tug wake that looks like a freestyle kicker! hittin it bout 20 feet off the stern.

I'll take those tugs and big deep sea fishing boats at Port A any day over a tanker. They are much more vertical than the tanker waves. Much more like surf. The first set of tanker waves mentioned here look pretty good though. I'd be in for a trip as long as we have a boat nearby for rescue, gas ect.

triple secret probation
the one time I went - by the time we got done riding the wave, rest for a few minutes - another tanker was on the horizon...so we'd make the 2 mile dash back up the shoreline in time to catch it.

we broke too many boats to stay out very long
