Well after the 2010 Blowsion Surf Slam this last Sept. I left my 1990 SN SJ to be painted and fixed up by Daylite Ramsey of Seattle, WA. After a long process of him working it over the winter it was getting close to the time I would recieve the finished product, which was to be a complete and utter suprise. except for one teaser picture of the ski wrapped up in blankets and in a crate
Last night I was hangin out with some friends when my dad informed me that Daylite had flown over a thousand miles and was now chillin at my house in Ketchikan, Alaska... and that tomorrow was the official release of my newly painted square nose. I was absolutely shocked and excited, to see my buddy Daylite check out where im from and what im all about AND I would finally get to see my superjet ALL done.
When I woke up this morning and walked into my shop full of tables, chairs and partyish food and supplies, I knew this wasn't just a pull the sheet off kinda thing. As it turned out about 60 people were arriving at my house to watch this ski be unveiled.
It all came quick and it was time to pull the sheets. Me being very excited to see my newly done Square nose had no clue of what was yet to come.
As the cover was lifted there layed my new ROUND NOSE YAMAHA SUPERJET!
not only was this not the ski I left to have worked over, this thing is BUILT to the nuts. Daylite went over the top on this paint project and worked harder than he ever has on a jetski. There are many wonderful people who made this all happen, most of which have a place on the hood of this ski. And I would really like to take a second to thank everyone involved in this huge suprise and unbelievable act that truely is only seen in this sport and is what makes us such a tight group of nutty jetskiers.

But most of all my Dad, Craig Thomas, put an awesome amount of time and effort putting this thing together. He has supported me through everything I wanted to do and made what I am goin for in jetskiing possible. My mom Roni Thomas, has also been behind me from square one, this support of my family makes everything come together.
THANK YOU
