I saw that..., I was curious how he attached the pole to his body. Some sort of harness to shoulders or maybe straps to his back? Did he just shove the pole down the back of the wetsuit?

Lookin for ideas.

There's a bunch of ways I could see, including using the chest mount spun around backwards with a bar clamp onto the pole and the camera clamped to it.

I like it though. We have a guy around here that built an offset mount to put the camera about a foot to the side of his head that works well.

nice edit and riding angles to get the shot,so few people can do this well in surf. might be interesting to mount a swivel on the top of your pole with the sholder mount and get some planatary angles as you leave the wave face for back flips it would look sick
