Hmmm I wonder what features could come in a premium version? Either way, tapatalk is the app i use by far the most on my phone. I recommend everyone to check it out and use it for browsing the x!

I installed Tapatalk 4 on my Galaxy last night but it says it's a trial version. It's also interfaced differently and may take some getting used to. So far I prefer the original version.

I also tried to update my ipad to Tapatalk HD but that one is still $4.99. No worries there though because the apple version is great just the way it is.

So basically they haven't given away a single thing and the whole thing is a marketing ploy.?

Anyone else have a different experience?

For me, it won't let me use the app, it just says it's out of date and a new update is available, then it takes me to Google play and the update is $2. 99. They won't let me use the old version that I've been fine with for a while. I emailed them last week and haven't gotten a response yet.

You can do a free update, but it sucks floppy donkey..

I'm using an old phone with an old tapatalk version while hotspotting my newer phone for wifi for the old droid.

After you do the free update, pages will load slower than a 300 Kawasaki.

I've had tapatalk for a few years now. Never a complaint until now.

Well I downloaded it when it was free, now I'm being forced to pay 2.99$ to update it. Kind of annoying, but after hearing you guys talk about this horrible update I won't bother to pay for it until it starts working better again.
