Other tdr waterbox

Hi guy got chance of a tdr waterbox but dont want anything to loud, how do these compare noise wise to say a early xmeatel waterbox anybody owned one ??

I dont think they are loud and neither do people I've ridden with. Water routing has a lot to do with it. I also beleive that different hulls contibute to volume of a given motor

This^. Mine has a deep throaty sound to it and not that annoying high pitch whine.

I agree with the water routing. A dry box is a loud box.

Does it have baffles? I have a baffleless TDR, and it is very loud. I also have very little water going in. Does anybody know about the back pressure of a baffleless box?

Even the baffled tdr boxes don't have baffles.

Nope don't know if maybe they make the tubes go further down why they consider it baffled or what

Should be great for your 1100 imo. Unless you've done some work it'll have power than my DASA 865 that I run a TDR on. I have TDR on both my B1's too

Never know try it. U can always put water fitting at inlet of wb that'll quiet it down

The ATP in a sj to me is still pretty loud, but not ear shattering more of a low tone that just carries. They sound good. Tdr with water can be made quiet to.

I run on in my SJ and I love the sound. Deep, throaty, and everyone at the lake digs on the sound of my ski. I would totally recommend it.

verry nice sound,rode it in my sxr and sound better than stock,but dont expect to see any power gain...

guys managed to get myself a atp waterbox so i passed on the tdr as the word LOUD kept coming up and it scared me off !!!
