SXR Tdr waterbox

the TDR is obnoxiously loud and offers no performance gain. stick with a stocker for twin cylinder applications and use a modified one (aka holes drilled in the baffle) for triple applications

I ran the baffled one with a DASA stroker and wet pipe. Sounded great and wasn't noticeably louder than the superjets I rode with. Funny how some say they are loud, I listen to mine, in B1's too, and they sound great without any complaints ever. Another thing that is funny, is if they are so terribly loud, why don't they stay for sale long when offered on the used market? The power spray model the way I understand it, has no baffling and a fitting on the inlet to introduce water in a controlled fashion to adjust sound level/back pressure. I've never run one as the baffled ones are so good imo I haven't been willing to try the other. Very well constructed, small and once again, great sound Get one, you'll really like it I'm sure. You could always call them and ask, they have always been nothing but nice on the phone. Yeah I'm a "fanboy" lol

I've purchased many Rad Dudes parts, really appreciate the parts they offer. Still, a TDR fanboy, everyone that I have recommended them to have been just as happy with the TDR as I have been. Either one will probably yield the same effect (no performance gain on stock setup), both are money spent in the U.S.. The TDR is smaller I suppose would be the difference. Good luck and have fun. P.S-if you go TDR get the baffled one.

I have ran the ATP waterbox for a number of years now. I liked the sound and loudness at first but not it drives me crazy. It is better now that removed the flow control valve on the stinger.

even if you plan to install a pipe later on,the water box should be the last thing on your list of mods as it will not do anything performance wise on a 2 cylinder.putting a pipe will make it noisier to begin with so if you end end modding the box it'll be louder still and people sitting on the shore do not like noise. part of the reason why skis have a bad rap!
so for our sake keep the noise down as much as possible.

Yea im good, id rather it loud, as far as people go i dont really care, theres millions of big loud ass straight piped boats i doubt i would be the reason for jetskis being banned or something
