Freestyle Team Scream by Gil D Williams

I was at the Nationals in Nashville this weekend and spent some time with someone I would have never thought in a million years I would be getting to know a little better.

I met Pat Bogart several years ago at a freeride in GA and my first impression was what an arrogant prick! My narrow minded azz has pretty much stuck to that until now. Pat should have punched me in the nose Sat AM and instead talked to me like we had been buds for years. I was A-pretty nervous and B-pretty confused. The more we talked the more I felt like a complete dickhead for all the smack talking BS that I have handed out over the years towards Team Scream, X metal, on and on and on.

After a lil while Pat unloads his ski and proceeds to blow my mind with the magnitude of his tricks this year (which by the way did not show up in competition as Stoyer handed Bogarts azz to him). lol I kept thinking 3 things the whole time Bogart was riding, dam he is too old to be doing this, thats alot of dam power, and he must be one hell of a rider to hang on to that much power. Did I mention how old his azz is? lol

Anyway, hats off to Pat for being a really stand up guy this weekend and proving that he really is a nice guy that is hung up on going bigger and having more than the rest!

Pat, it was awesome getting to know you this weekend! (ps-whats up with choking in front of the crowd?)lol

Jason Stoyer had the best run of his life today and literally handed Bogarts azz to him on a silver platter! Congrats to Stoyer on the PERFECT run!!!

way to man up Gil.. I always wondered why you seemed to have a hard-on for Pat and XScream. Pat and the whole XScream crew have always been absolutely great anytime I have been around them.

Congrats to Stoyer, he is a great guy too!

I deserve that internet bitchslap more than anyone on here and to be honest was amazed it took this long.
pm Pat and ask him if I am sincere. Are we now best friends on the entire planet, doubt it. Did we have adult
conversations off and on all weekend? Yes. Did I finally get to meet the real Pat, yes. As stated earlier, I felt
like a real dickhead all weekend long. Pat was riding absolutely off the charts Saturday and I told him he was
riding better than ever before and next thing you know he gave me a 1009cc motor. JK JK JK JK JK JK lol

I think the judging this weekend was the best I have ever seen it, I saw a 10 year old lil girl compete in AM
freestyle and hold her own better than I could have, and got to really meet some people for the 1st time.

Nothing more than life is short and it's alot more fun with many friends than few friends. I am almost 40 and Bogart said he was 54 so I figure it's time for me to act my age for once. lol (he didn't really say 54, but that's my friendly jab and I am gonna wear it out) LOL

If i am not mistaken that would be Brooke you are talking about taking Jr freestyle
how cool that must have been to see

I met Pat (and BK) back in 06, we went out riding for a while and it was cool
the funniest part was when he took my ski and had a very confused look on his face, he was like wow this thing has alot of power but weird how it doesn't pop up, then WHACK the hull extenders hit his leg and was like Ohhh now i see why lol
i told him i have at least another 50#'s on him
