Yeah, lets hope the OEM and aftermarket parts stays around for a quite a while for the 701. Doesn't yamaha guarantee at least 5-7 years of parts?

Yeah, its like when Polaris and Tigershark watercraft side went out of business . They legally had to make replacement parts for 8 years after the last model made. But i'll bet Yamaha will make replacement parts even after 8 years.

It's ridiculous if you ask me. Emissions, smissions...it's not like we are commuting to work on freaking two strokes anyway. I'm happy with my 03 SJ but this two stroke ban nonsense is making me want to buy a new SXR while they're still around.

After riding my superfreak now for about 2 months I can assure you im never going beck to an SJ again, I tried to ride a friends' brand new 2011 and it felt awkward at best, way too long and way too skinny.
