Ok so I missed LSFR, gotta make this one. I saw talk of multiple dates, have you people decided on one for sure yet? And I did I miss the exact location of the secret camp grounds? How close is it to highpoint marina? I'm just trying to get some driving times in mind

Just got back bout an hour ago my self quik.. It wasn't near as cold as I figured it would be and all my mods I've been installing seem to be working like they should so sweeet!

I don't know that anybody of the last 3 posters actually rode at Texoma since none are from that immediate area (chime in if I'm wrong). I took it that these were general, "did anybody ride this weekend" posts.

Texoma is my absolute favorite lake to ride in this area because of the big cruisers. Some days are better than others, but there are almost always enough to make the trip worthwhile. And if you go the whole weekend without getting a big cruiser to chase, you're not looking hard enough. Let's pray for not much wind, smooth water, just nice enough for the big boats to come out but not too many other boats out - we get that about twice a year up there and it's pure heaven when it happens. You get big, dense wakes without a lot of chop or ijjits to look out for and that makes me happy! :purr:

funny thing is that when the races are going on theres usually 15-20 huge boats tied up just outside the course watching:cool2:

Hmm Ive seen a few tie up but not 15-20 huge boats. I hope they show up on the weekend of the ride.

Oh, now you're changing your tune on whether you paid attention to boats while at the races?! Come on, just admit you were trying to bust my chops, weren't you :)

Christian read what I said.
I didnt pay any attention to the boats going by. Yea I usually see the boats that are TIED up watching, I even see them when im out riding (Test/tune) at a race.
Its TWO different things..
Also I have never seen you race there, but then I have not raced there since 04.
As with any big lake, even mine there are some big crusers out there.

If I wanted to bust your chops, I would of mentioned something about you walking right past me and a few others at the LSFR and not even saying "HI".
Next weekend, race in baytown are you going to be there?

we'll be on the TX side. If you look at a map, I think Pottsboro is close to where we will be.
