Me and Wayne just got back and the truck unpacked. Had a blast. (except for the broken parts and teardowns!)
Stormed like hell last night, but all and all it was great! Met several people from here on the board, and everyone was super nice. Great bunch of people.
There was pretty smooth water and a few big cruisers today before we all packed up and split. Good time.
Sure gonna feel good to take a shower and sleep in a bed though!!

Hope everyone made/makes it home ok.

I had alot of fun this weekend. There was more people saturday then I expected.

Wayne & Boyd: it was great to meet you guys! Too bad both ya'lls skis had to get wrenched and knocked out further riding that day. Don't feel bad, now my pump (I think) is stuck. Remember, think safety!

Mick: Thanks for letting us use your fan. It really helped and lasted quite awhile on that motorcycle battery.

Penguin: Sorry about the stupid penguin jokes. I couldn't resist. You don't look like a penguin anymore. If you shaved before the ride, I wouldn'ta recognized ya. You're looking good, man.

Kaveman(our hero, I guess): You have cute kids and a sweet wife. I'm glad you brought the clan this time. I was happy to meet them. Your boy asked you for a couch, yet? I forgot to thank him for helping Kim's brother back to shore...

Skinnyman: Thanks for putting this on and helping our lost asses get out there. U get up that hill OK?

Ass Joel: It was great meeting you! Too bad you you didn't get to ride.

Everyone: It was great seeing old friends and making new ones! I had a fun time even with the 4AM wakeup call. Can't wait till Sept. 88(+/-) days and counting.

The Penguin

triple secret probation
ger and kim - ya'll definitely get the "hardcore" award for driving 10+ hours with 3 dogs to go camping and ride in a lake.

I had a little something to give you, but I forgot - so it will have to wait till September

I towed Skinny's trailer up the hill - so I'm sure he made it up with the camper easily.

It was great to meet you and Kim too Jerry. Glad you guys made that long haul safely. Sucks about your ski now!:swordfight: Look forward to seeing you guys again.
Kaveman and Kavewoman, Bonzai Bob, Yamahammer, Joel, Deez, Penguin...it was great meeting ya'll. Tony, Rusty, and the other locals were super cool too! Big thanks to BJ for hooking me up with the steering cable. Otherwise my ride would have been over! Can't wait till the next ride! Everyone was super cool and helpful. See ya on the water!!

Oh yeah....big shout out to Skinnyman for putting this together!:Banane35:

Ditto. It was a bummer you were so busy with everything. Oh well, until Sept. :Banane35:

Just plain me....
BIG, HUGE THANKS to Skinny for a great venue & the use of a ski. Awesome place to relax, ride, drink, eat & in general just have a great time. And what would a camping trip be without a story 'bout a local d.a. redneck. I guess the dude forgot he was in Texas or he wouldn't have been waking everyone up Friday night wanting a tow. He's a lucky sob that he didn't leave with more than the one hole in his head....lol

San Angelo boys - thanks for letting me whore the SXR. Yeah, I want one.

Kim & Jer - thanks for the airport pickup.

And DEEZ....my absolute hero. Thank you SOOOO much for the ride back to the airport. But most of all, thanks for the fine entertainment you provide. You are truly one of a kind. I always know you're going to be good for a few laughs. You're my human prozac...lol

I hate that I missed it. Sounds like a blast. But then I would have missed meeting a group of people from a Swingers club on Galveston Bay Saturday. :lmao: That was an interesting walk upon. One of those "wow did that just happen to me" events. Maybe we can invite them to the next ride? :silly: But seriously, I missed y'all. Glad there was no carnage outside of the normal stuff.

big thumbs up to skinny. i had a blast. every one i meet was good people. bonzi bob makes a killer handle pole. i heard several people make comments about it. glad to hear every one made it home ok. can't wait till the next ride.

on a side note, skinnyman made it through the weekend with out breaking a ski, his tote on the other hand needs work now. better than the ski. i had a great time working on mine in the heat. NOT. felt like i was going to get heat stroke a couple times. boy was it good to sleep in a bed after two nights of sleeping on the ground. i think i hurt more in the mornings than i did at night.

Fun ride. Followed the cruiser that made the weekend on Sat afternoon. My boys had stabs that were visible from the beach (a long ways away) and I like to think some of mine were visible, too.

My hubby is about 7/8 of the way around on his rolls, both flat and off wakes. He looked like he was doing it in slow motion on the wakes and is so close to plate to plate it's ridiculous (he didn't want to over-rotate them).

That spot does get pretty smooth, wind-driven waves and if a cruiser goes by, even clear across the other side of the lake, the waves roll in for a long time. Texoma is always a fun ride. There were several times when the water was near glassy smooth, and some cruiser waves came rolling in. It was pretty sweet.

It was great to see everybody and I can't wait until Sep.

Speakin' of pit bikes, the hubby claims he's all better today, isn't going to the doc. Claims he's having no problem moving it around, must have just strained the muscles, yada, yada. He makes me crazy, sometimes.

I always thought that was the husband's job.:silly: I know I work tireless hours perfecting my crazy-making skills. Just ask Kim. :lmao:
