Thank you Brian, Drew and everyone else involved in making this ride what it has become. I would highly recommend this ride to anyone that is thinking about this venue. I personally can't remember the last time I had that much fun riding as I did on Saturday. A special thank you to Thrust for the awesome prizes!

5mm tap welded to slide hammer, right?

I dont know about 5mm tap, but you are on the right track, minus the slide hammer.

You put a slide hammer to a tap and likely you will have two things to remove from the cover or case.

A 5mm tap wont even touch the sides, you know what Im sayin?

An SBP billet case or SBP billet flywheel cover comes WITH a new OE bushing already installed....just saying.

1/2" tap to cash bushing, then thread in 1/2" bolt attached to slide hamer. Pops right out, then SBP see thru timing cover for other side only way to do it properly, IMO

I like the sound of that.

If you are gentle....once the tap bottoms out, it will usually extract the bushing itself. Usually.
