So in case you haven't heard this yet congress passed a little law that takes effect January 1st 2024 targeting millions of small businesses.

If you do not follow these new regulations controlling your business you will be fined immense amounts of money.

You will now need to be registered in a federal database if you have any role in an LLC or an S-corp , you have to give the government all your details, if anyone registered in the database moves to a new residence your new address must be reported within 30 days , they will now keep track of where a companies and executives live as well as any time they relocate.

The new reporting regulations do not apply to larger corporations , the civil penalties for not filling out and sending in the forms stating your location are $500.00 per day with criminal penalties of up to two years in prison and up to $10,000 .

Thanks again congress you are a greedy, entitled bunch of asswipes.

The department of consumer affairs did something sorta similar in California with the personal info Specialized workers, those trades requiring a state license, now we have our personal home address posted online.

All I can say is I dropped the LLC years ago , for me the benefits did not outweigh the costs, I can see where people with a bigger business could benefit from having an LLC.

Of course, but obscure paperwork and filing requirements that if you get it wrong costs $500/day… that’ll bury some little guy out there.

More specifically, I didn’t know about this law (LLC). Nor did another guy (s-corp) that I know. I’m guessing I’d get burned hard come January. Yet very prominent and obvious politicians/family can have a myriad of shell companies, laundering millions, and no one does anything.

I don't think you understand how it works, the big corporations own America now , they also own the weapons mfgs ,airplane mfgs etc, etc. These guys don't make money if we are not at war, maybe some but not huge amounts.

On this particular legislation it just tightens the belt on what are already ridiculous restrictions on small business owners . When covid hit you didn't see any Targets and Walmarts close up did you , no but a lot of small business owners had to fold up their tent and go home.

This is in addition to the $6 Billion which Biden/Obama recently gave to Iran.

Note: Since Hamas is the Government of Gaza, it is impossible to give it to the "Palestinian people" directly. So, Biden/Obama will just have to "trust" that the $100 Million of U.S. Taxpayer Dollars will be used by Hamas for "humanitarian" purposes.

This will probably be very unliked but you know that's never stopped me before so here it go '

They have to target the middle class, they are the only ones working, the poor people aren't wotking and if they are they don't make enough to be able to tax them, the rich people are not working and if they are they hide their income so well that you can't tax them either, that just leaves the middle class and they keep squeezing them harder and harder till we give up or die.

Originally the middle class was small with a few very rich and most very poor. It took massive deficit spending during WW2 to make the majority “middle class”. The demographic has been slowly reverting for a while now. Right now the government is borrowing 8 billion dollars a week and is creating 30 percent of all new jobs directly. I don’t know how long it can last but it’s a good ride for now, especially if you fall into one of their preferential hire categories.
