I like my Rhaas mounts too. They are on the stiff side though. I've repaired couch mounts with 5200 and some screws. Held up fine on the couches.

Pro or rec model? I spoke to Rhaas before I bought them and he suggested rec for my riding. I don't find them to be too stiff.

I think I have the stiffer compound. I'm running a 4mil 896, so he said it was borderline which version to go with. I'm happy with the mounts for sure. Just found the need to use loctite instead of antiseize on most bolts

awesome thanks. I can't see spending 160 for mounts if they just rip apart at the base. the rest of the design is holding up. small weakness that would be cool if I could fix with 5200

Yes he does. I need to send mine out. I was just meaning the fact your spending 160 and mounts are breaking at whatever rate. I'm very glad they replace. If they only break once a year on me I'm fine with that for all the flops and airtime this setup has seen. Plus great looking miunts. I just hope 5200 will make me see YEARS out of them

This is one of the saddest things I've heard in at least a month. Too bad you can't just give them 5200 samples since its so awesome and everything

Finally after a lot of abuse....all 3 OTHER mounts failed around my 5200 mount! I see now I had no OEM mounts....I had a mix of used whatevers.....

So when the 3 ripped around my 5200 I figured rather than mess around during our short season I would start with 4 fresh OEM from maniac...

So now I have a crap load of 5200'd mounts! The still holding white one and 3 blacks and 4 more not messed with yet....

The stuff blows my mind!
