I brought the Backie Chan over to my buddy truerider411's place on the weekend for a little comparison. The fit and finish on both of these hulls is awesome and I can't wait to get them on the water!!
The first thing we noticed when we had the hulls side by side was how different the bottom decks were. It makes sense since the Chan is SXR based and the Rok-r is superjet based. The Backie Chan came a little more complete then the Rok-r, it had turf, pump shoe and pump inserts where the Rok-r didn't
Some of the major differences between the hulls are
The Chan is wider in the nose with sponsons built into the sides of the hull
The Rok-r is 3" shorter from nose to tail (not includeing ride plates)
The ride plate designs are totally different
The BC has a much bigger tray area
The Rok-r has a fixed aluminum blade for an intake
