The i forgot loctite on the stator carnage

trashed my flywheel and stator and completely destroyed the lower case stator thread..
so boys and girls. torque all your bolts down to spec with lots of loctite =/

anyone know a solution to fix this? the upper case thread is still good.
swap whole lower case? timesert? whole new motor?
All help welcomed i want to get back on the water asap.

gouged a nice chunk out of the flywheel and alot of the magnet
stripped out the thread on the lower cases.
flattened out the stator pickups...

I seen no reason in the world a thread insert would not work. They are better than the stock alum threads. Hell, do them both while you are at it.

alright will do, should just use bolts then instead of the screws they are always a B**ch to remove.
Im thinking ill do inserts with jb weld on the back so they dont ever come out then just locitie 242 on the bolts for the stator.

keith is right i would use blue loctite, red will pull the coil out with the bolt....i am pretty sure loctite color code is, from weakest to strongest, purple, blue, red and green
