The low down on the TBM Super pump cone for Superjets?!?!

I have been running the TBM system with the shortest cone with a Concord 13/17 and I thought it worked pretty good until I installed a -3mm Skat Swirl 12/17. The Skat made a noticeable difference in initial hook up and the pump stayed loaded much better all the time. I lost a little top end, but who cares if the low-mid gains are that good. This setup does seem to load the engine a little more, but well worth it IMO. Best change I have made in a while.

Wow, thats great news to hear. Its the same set up I'll be testing out tomorrow. Is your pump nozzle bored Keefer?

my next step is to try a hooker prop in the superjet with a tbm since i swapped everything over to the blaster.

When you do that Motoman, post up your results!

The TBM super pump cone sure is a little work of art. That took a lot of thought and design to make it as perfect as it is. I also like how there is no way for any of the bolts to back out since everything is stacked on the backside. Well except for the last one on the cone.

I thought Tim at TBM was the first with this. Then Chapin w/R&D came out with one too. I kind of remember some arguring about who was first over at PWCT sometime back.
Anyone know the "low down"? or just some good info!

Actually i have the drawing that i did with the date it was drawn on
i sent the drawing to the states to get it checked out to see if it was legal or not and then lo and behold 6mths later tbm came out with it

The person i sent it to i believe turned out to be a friend of tim bushmans

If he ever takes legal action against some other company for making them and wins then i will be taking it against him

Ok, went and tested it out yesterday and didnt notice anymore brap snap "out of the hole" power, but could really feel the extra hookup like when turning. It has WAY less slide out action. Almost too much for flat water freestyle IMO. I can see why racers and freeriders like them a lot. It really does keep the pump down and stuck on the water like a Skat mag..

It may have scrubbed a MPH or 2 off the top end, but I dont really care about that as long as the off idle throttle response is there.
I rode behind a friends Superjet real close up in his white water and could tell that it would really be nice for the surf. If I rode surf more I know I would have one of these in there for sure.

I didnt feel that it dogged my motor down at all. It was its usual self.
I'm gonna go and try it again some more today and see if I can get more used to the hookup.
I also hav a C-75 12/17 to test out too...
