One of my canadian friends who has been riding octanes since they came out said that the bottom is exactly like the octane except for a little bit deeper concave feeding the intake grate. I think he said its a little bit shorter than on an sxr.

The price has been stated to be above the HS because wammer bought only 100 motors, not a huge mass like HS. Others have said less.

Its a great idea to have built this ski. I wish it wasnt based on the octane hull since they dont handle for crap, but im hoping for the best out of it.

Wamilton designed the hull for Polaris, and Seebold produced the hulls at their place.

Good Job, Wammer. I'm not sure why you didn't go with a proven hull like the 3-D but it looks good nonetheless.

Keep up the good work.

Wammerjet Q&A

I just returned from the finals (awesome time), and had the pleasure of working with Wammer on the final preparation for the introduction.. I will post a few answers as I well as possible, but the final answers will have to come from Wammer himself..

The boats on display are "concept skis" and aren't necessarily what will be released into production. They are designed for closed course competition, and the weight is approx 390 Lbs. (??). The hull construction is fiberglass, and will be repairable by the average guy so you don't have to see the Carbon fiber experts. The first prototype is the Black one, and has been ridden by test riders for evaluation and component testing. The White boat was built with numerous changes for testing purposes, and will be tested in Florida.

Don't be surprised if there are many prototypes, and changes made before Wammer releases something, as he is not rushing to put anything into production that isn't ready. I personally know what happened to the Octane project, and the production Octane was very different from the prototypes that Wamilton made. The prototypes were altered for ease of production, and the handling was compromised as a result.

The Wammerjet has a new bottom that shares a few of the Octane features, but definitely isn't a splash or copy.. The Octane top deck was used as Wammer owns the molds that Polaris used, but don't be surprised if you see a change before production.. The dual exhaust on the prototype is for the Weber 160+ Hp kits. The price will be very close to the Hydrospace suggested retail, and Wamilton / Weber dealers will potentially offer performance kits up near the 200 Hp range.

Please remember that this is just my personal opinion and you will need to contact Wamilton for the real information.

u sure

that its latched i think they did a cutout of the ski to showoff the engine being the engine is new they want to show it off so they cut out some of the hull. thats nuts if its going to be like that. kinda scary prob want to reinforce. or just not go to oceanside

looks like the hull would flex a fair bit seeing how the sides are scalloped deeply.better have a good hood gasket on it.i like that someone is getting into this, great idea.the top deck looks like an octane's.should be nice!
