Hooked on the Jamz
I have seen other people mentioning how cool and interested they were. It was great. Not only the ones on the balcony during the raffle who turned their lights on when Stoyer/Young asked for some light, but on the beach they were so into it. One old guy was telling me that he was from cocoa beach but that they would never be allowed to have that much fun in cocoa. Another older lady was thrilled to hear that everyone would still be riding on Sunday so she could watch more. Another couple was just in awe and was asking about footstraps and footholds....they sounded like they were dying to give it a try.

Anyway, they rocked and I think they all went home with some great stories to tell.

I totally agree. I couldn't freakin believe my ears when an older person told me how amazed they were at what we were doing. That kind of thing just doesn't happen in Cali. What a nice surprise for a jetskier to actually feel welcome. We partied all day and all night and they didn't seem to mind at all.

I completely agree too! Those were some cool azz pepes down there!

Just super tolerant and happy. I can only hope I am like that when I'm old.

I talked to a ton of them and not one was ever even the least bit negative or crabby.

Happy 71st birthday old man Chuck..............wherever you are!

Those older people rocked !! I just loved talking to that lady from Montreal !! I gave her husband a Riva hat that was tossed out at the raffel and he loved it !!

I would like to throw out another big thanks to the "G" crew for letting me ride their ski's !! (Art,Adam,Pat,pete)

Paul & Kathy always amaze me on how classy they are no mater what is going on !

Butch & Teresa

Talk about cool peeps! We invited some down off their balcony for the BBQ and they were giddy! Ended up getting to know Babs and Martin and their crew pretty well...

When we apologized for being so loud in the evenings, they said "Don't worry about it - we just turned our hearing aids off and went to sleep - but next time, INVITE US TO PARTY WITH YOU!"

This would never happen in Cali - but I WISH it would!

Check out this dude - he was ready to par-tay!

I thought it was cool when the older ladies watching the raffle went in and turned their lights on for us!

I stayed in the coral beach hotel and the old people there would sit out and watch us most of the day. always told me to have fun every morning!

 They were all great and very gracious when we invited them ALL to eat lunch that we were providing on Saturday!!...... They all called me by name after that and thanked me even when we were leaving!!!:woot:

I had quite a few even donate money to the cause to say "Thanks" for lunch!!! :Banane01:

Greg and Stephanie were really cool about it too - I even heard Greg telling an extremly "old" man to think of SBT next time he needs a motor....LOL! We all had a great time working together - It was classic and a great thing to see PWC today and members of the X working together for the love of the sport!!!!

Big thanks to Joanne Crossley and Lori Smith for their help in serving lunch.... I could not of done it without them!! We think we served close to 400 people!!!! Love ya both!

Hey guys,

Just remember . . . . . old peeps is just young folks that time caught up with . . . . . . . inside everyone of those old geezers there is a 20 year old wantin' to hump your 'ol lady and steal your SuperJet !

The most exciting thing they did when they were your age was fight a war to save the world and then come home "make" your parents !

I'm glad they made you feel that welcome . . . . sounds like Daytona was a huge success !

I saw this couple watching everyone ride and had to grab a picture. It is a new use for roleeze wheels.

The Good Old Days
I live in a town full of OLD people (actual age has nothing to do with being OLD).
The folks at Daytona weren't OLD at all, they were senior citizens who have my full respect.
