The ORIGIONAL Tales of the Tour.

Alright all you keyboard slappers. Here's a special gift from the time warp vault at Certified Insane. A genuine piece of jetski history. The very first Tales of the Tour Cartoon that began my illustrious personal watercraft journalism career back in 1992. Vintage $hit for you Stand-Up afficianados out there. This ran in Splash Magazine in June or July of 92 and started a series of columns I would write for Splash and others that spanned some four years.

There are preliminary talks of a return to syndication. So if you remember the Tales and want more let it be known here.

Enjoy!

Well guys, looks like the deal is done. There will be a return of Tales of the Tour, but since Im not touring anymore I think Im going to call the new column 'Chasing Tales" The first series will be based around my return to racing at this years SurfSlam. Check in here for a link to the first Tale very soon! Thanks for your support!

It's doubtful this new generation remembers me or my Tales of the Tour articles that appeared in Splash Magazine and JetDreams Japan during my racing tenure in the 90s.

Regardless, the Blowsion Brainchild does, and has convinced me that I need to bring the Tales back for his groundbreaking SurfSlam Motosurf/Freeride event coming up in September. I've agreed to write a blog on www.Watercraft.com to chronicle my return to the starting line.

Follow along as the story begins with my revelation about stand up racing, buying a boat, building it into a racer, building a transport van to carry this giant beast of a ski, ride surf with the Slasher, and try desperately to get my pathetic fatass into good enough shape to survive a surf race.. all injected with the classic Tales style you OG vets used to love.

Toilet fodder from the Old School...

Thanks for reading...

Are you gonna draw yourself wearing one of those neon green or pink Mobbys wet suits?
