So I wasn't completely sastisfied with my spark output. Decided to cutback the plug wires and put on some new terminals. Well surprise to me these wires were so incredibly thin, were some sort of coiled wire as compared to the massive strand that I was expecting. Good thing I had another spare coil to reterminal. Now my spark is atleast ten fold producing a MASSIVE lighting spark.

Pic for comparison

I know your watching my build as well, but I just scrolled back through here.

How is you engine level? with only one plate, isnt that throwing that back corner extra high?
-I was able to use mine, worked out well.

Also I wish I would of saw your adapters for the cooling lines. I ended up getting my 3/8 lines on with a heat gun and some wd40

fuel tank update

Welp I got tired of running out of gas while riding so figured I would do my fuel tank swap. Took a ton of guess and checking but it managed to fit. I also am in the process of making a carbon fiber cap.

I started out with my 550 tank and moving up to the sxr tank. Should give me another 2 gallons

And this thing barely fits!!!!

*note for those interested my 550 tank setup is for sale now, fits great in almost any AM hull and holds 3.9 gallons rather than those tiny kart tanks.

I'm super happy I only have a 2 gallon! I had a starter fail and my flywheel key sheer off. I was able to unstrap my tank push it forward and pull my flywheel with the engine in the ski.

I have the extended coupler as well and it has 1/4" clearance

I would be hating life with that tank

Glad I re-read this thread- ordered an SXR tank today. I hate having to get someone to haul my extra fuel around just so I can ride to the back of the lake... and now Oceanside will be doable again!
