On those carbs with the taamper caps, you need to remove them so you can turn the carb adjustment screws some more. Just take a small screw driver or pick and pop them off. They just press over the ends of the screws.

I bet you have something in your low speed jets or the low speed circuit, take the jets out and the low speed screws and blow everything out. I bet you will find something in there and also check the end of the adjustment screws I have seen a carb that they tighten the screws in to tight and broke off the tip in the carb.

Well... everything is back to bone stock form now. if it doesn't work this time i will have a cow. I'll also pull the jet out and carbs apart if it doesn't run. But if it doesn't, i have my SJ back now so it won't really matter to me, just my GF.

The carb screws still have the stock limters on them and always have so i doubt the tip is broken off.

Did anyone ever figure out the nimber of turns out the screws are supposed to be set at? I read a few earlier posts what they may be, are those correct?

we will have to get that way sometime when everybody quits f***ing with thier skis. jumping jarrod and me have rode quite a few times already. wild bill and neal are both gonna have really sharp skis this year.

If you do wanna run the aftermarket FA's you just need to re-set your pop off pressure a little bit lower. Im not sure to how much but all you need is the Mikuni Pop-off setting gauge to adjust it.
