Hey guys and gals, so I’m sure you’ve seen my posts asking questions about the Rickter edge , SV-pro and aqaubot v2. Well I decided the aqaubot v2 would be good for what I do ( spoke with a lot of people who own them). The hull was ordered and should be here some time during April. I grew up on js550s and finally got my first SN superjet when I was 19, then my first round nose when I was 21, I ended up buying a 17 superjet 2 years ago and did a few small things to keep it reliable and fun for what I do. Well as you all know , they are very limited so I decided to keep that for a back up ski and build a freestyle ski. I’ve ordered some stuff already and I’m waiting for jet maniac to get me a whole parts price list for the remainder, Tony at Tigercraft gave me awesome deals on a pole/ steering and odds/ ends. I decided to make this “build” a reliable one that can still do what I’d like. I’m doing what most people do .. 718 ported/ polished, trim, I’m going to run my 144pump for now, b pipe ect. Originally I was going to use my SJ motor but came across a motor and wanted to keep the superjet around for a back up for now. So far. So far my motor and b pipe are on the way. Any tips or tricks along the way would be awesome , I’m all ears ! I’ll post pics as stuff comes in and as progress goes
