I signed up to get notifications and news from the Florida fish and wildlife conservation commission.

It's amazing at how stupid people can be. Keeping undersized or out of season fish/lobster, prohibited fish, intoxication, arguments, etc.

How about following the law and doing things like a normal person? Is it really THAT hard?

I don't have a sparkling record, but common sense should be common.

So I go to Panera Bread for lunch, and order take out so I am not late for my meeting. I grab my order, get back to the office ready to enjoy a delicious Italian Sandwich and when I open the wrapped.....BOOM, instant heartbreak. I sunk into my seat overwhelmed with depression and sadness. How? Why? Why Me? NOoooooooooooooo!

*Yes this is my actual sandwich, and yes I made a meme out of it. And yes, they forgot the main ingredients.....the MEAT!*

If it makes you feel any better, I told your story to a few different people and they all agreed that you got hosed on that one. That was pretty licoriceed up.

Tomorrow was supposed to be my annual camping trip to Flaming Gorge. Its been planned for a year and I've been counting down the days to go. To make it work for my friends I moved the dates several times, made arrangements to pick people up at a local airport, chose a campsite that met one guys need of a bathroom, went all out to make it great for everyone. I planned on having my skis but with my injury I cant bring them, or water ski with everyone when we rent the boat, cliff jump, or use the 20 foot tall rope swing. I decided oh well, I'll just spearfish and make the best of it. at least I can do one activity right? I didn't want to bail on everyone since I planned it. However, to spear fish it required us to camp an additional 9 miles away from the marina (still on the water and it still had a bathroom). Apparently, that was too huge of a request to ask of my "friends". they threw a huge fit, talked S#!t about it and me behind my back saying I was selfish, and refused to compromise because, heaven forbid, they have to drive an extra couple miles for booze or ice (which I also agreed to go buy for everyone!!!!!!!!). So screw those assholes. I just cancelled.. So much for enjoying my favorite trip of the year. Just blew vacation time for nothing. With friends like them, who needs enemies. This is easily becoming the most irritating year of my entire life.

There have been 3 different times in my life where I have severed ties with 95% of existing friendships and simply "walked away." One of those times was after an incident very similar to yours. Life's too short for drama.

Just checked on my daughters XL800 ski bro in law bought. It just quit on them this weekend. Front cylinder 120 psi, rear barely 20 psi. :eek:

-I have/had off and on group of friends whom always want to have a good time usually at others expenses. I used to hear all the time and often still do..
" Hey man bring the skis out.. hey you bring the boat and wake boards? Hey, Grab some food and snacks etc etc" I got tired of babysitting my equipment and burning my fuel whilst they cant even come on time or let alone bring bags of ice.. and when its time to haul out and load up.. Ghost town, they're all leaving. lesson learned. Fool me once shame on you.. fool me twice shame on me. You get the idea.

-Don't worry Wetdreams if we ever meet up at a ride and camp.. I'll save you a steak.. and Swap you can tell me all about your job interview..

^^^ this^^^ Same thing here. Come move down to texas. We can spear fish, or go gigging, or whatever as long as it's at the water. Best part, my lakes don't ice. Ever.

Wife and I have been to San Antonio she has friends just who just moved last year outside of Austin. I really enjoyed it. Side note: I had the meat sweats for a few days after frequent dining on real roadside brisket and local tacos.. The platters of beef and greens I consumed for about 8 dollars.. my god back home would have cost me triple and been dried out and over salted.. Texas FTW... we've been discussing it for quite some time seriously. easier said than done I am afraid!
