Why's everyone always hating on The Buzzard? He can come off as a dikk and has strong opinions but they are usually provoked. He definitely has more experience and knowledge with skis than most people on this site and his posts are always ski related so...

I just dont have respect for people who prey on those in our sport that are less knowledgeable about the value of parts. He's one of these d-bags that stick parts on ebay for like 5 times what they're worth hoping some poor fool that doesn't do their research will just buy what he's selling and believe that its a decent price. Its preying on the weak IMO.

my yellow freak had jeff jacobs world finals back up motor in it. i own a few of mike coes old race boats. he is the most famous racer in the area. i got his world finals winning expert veterans superstock polaris octane and his pro class round nose. if you google his name, it comes up in some of the old racing results. i've got pro freestyler john kaizers old WDK rev 1200 boat, larrys first QSM sxr hull. dont know if this is the history you meant.

i got a lot of JETCO stuff. that was the famous local jetski shop back in the day. i got all nick bannano of carbon tech & gator grips old race boats and parts. flyin bryan bendix , mark baxter, mike coe, brian bolle?(ultimate watercraft/kommander industries), mike prodonovitch , mario lesina are some of the guys with big history that call me on occasion.

I just hope you have a written will, or a kid or someone that can one day inherit all thos skis, there is a lot of history in that yard. It would be a waste for the city to haul it away and destroy it. If you want, you can addopt me.

It's Capitalism. If someone doesn't do thier homework and pays too much, it's thier own damn fault. Are all car dealerships that lease vehicles dbags? Plenty of people leasing vehicles these days and that's way dumber than paying too much for a Coffman Sizzler.

oh, here we go! for starters, who are you to determine the value of anything? just because you think every part you need should be ass wipe money, doesnt mean I'M going to give it to you. there are plenty on here and everywhere that are willing to give their stuff away for beer money. BUY IT FROM THEM! but dont bag on me for selling parts for what they are actually worth! and something is worth whatever somebody will pay for it! yes, i demand good money for what i consider good or rare and i get it or keep it, it dont matter. ITS NOT MY JOB TO EDUCATE BUYERS BEFORE THEY BUY! this was the short answer. i'd love to give it to you with both barrels!

You, of all people, harping on what is the very essence of free market capitalism free of government intervention?
Would you be more okay with it if it were a multi-billion dollar corporation doing the same thing on a grander scale?

Seriously, given your political stance on these kinds of issues on a national/international scale in the past, I don't understand your stance on the Buzzard at all. How do you reconcile that?

this is how he runs his business. If your willing to pay for it then it is worth it. NOW, should he send you a defective part then you have a gripe. He can ask anything he wants for the part as long as he represents it for the condition it actually is then he risks no sale over pricing.

It is not a sellers job to research what your buying, it YOURS. If you get jacked shame on you. How is a customer PREY?

that was me. i was trying to help you guys out with your 750? not running. i was giving you guys some good suggestions with what was wrong. i dont think you listened, cause you had tore apart that didnt need to be. we were at the same hotel and i think we were below you.

Its true, I do believe in free market capitalism, so it goes against my beliefs in a way to say what Im saying about this guy. I believe that companies that do good honest business will be rewarded in kind. Thats the thing, I dont think this guy does good business. He sets traps on ebay for weak minded buyers who dont have a feel for the value of these parts. He even says "Its not my job to educate buyers before they buy," and I agree. But essentially he's admitting that he's targeting uneducated buyers.

And if these parts are worth what you say they are, why dont you just list them here? Furthermore, why do you need 3 ebay accounts if you're an honest seller?

Buzzard bought a 08 sj prop off me a while ago, I think he said something like "i only have one of those". That left me scratching my head.. But now someone posted that picture I totally understand now haha. Great thing about that is, there's no down time if something blows on your ski. Go straight to the yard.

All the hype and BS he puts in his ebay listings are very misleading.
I'm all for making money but their's a right way to do it and a wrong way.

Yea that was us. I was trying to help my buddy fix his ski. Next time I help somebody I'm not taking their word on anything. We pulled the stator cover off because he said that he already checked the battery and the terminals. I will say you sounded like a total dick when you tried to help us, but I think you may have been upset/busy with something else at the moment. I can't hate on you for that, any help is better than no help.
The one or two times my girlfriend talked to you she said you were a total dick but I wasn't there to witness anything. (I think she talked to you at the hotel pool) Just because she is a girl doesn't mean she is stupid when it comes to jet skis.
Revving your ski in the hotel parking lot when it's 6am isn't that cool. It didn't really bother me because we were loading up but I can see how that would piss some people off.
Your online posts don't really bother me. That might be because I don't really read them. To be honest the title of this thread made it sound like somebody was going to thank you.
Overall I think you are ok, you sure seemed like an azzhole at the time, but maybe we started off on the wrong foot. I'm not going to post a huge rant about you or anything. Thats just not very cool. Out of all of the jet ski people I have met I've only had a problem with 3 people. In general the people in the jet ski community are really cool. So I'll just give you the benefit of the doubt.
At the next freeride I'll make my final decision on if I like your or not. lol
In the end I guess this post is somewhat useless. Sorry to waste everyone's time.
