Super Jet Thick Oil Pouring From Rear Exhaust

Recently bought a sn superjet with a 61x set up with dual carbs. Ran it for a day, but had trouble tuning it so I swapped it back over to the stock single carb. The only other mods are a protec pipe and shaved stock head.

Once I swapped back over to the single carb, I got it running and what looked like a few ounces of oily sludge shot/leaked out of the exhaust. Any ideas on what could have caused this?

Probably a lot of oil built up when you were trying to tune it. Once you got it running right the residual oil made its way through the exhaust. I run mine on the rich side and always have black sludge coming out of my exhaust. Nothing to worry about.

Dual carbs can cause your ski to run on one cylinder if the needle and seat is stuck open dumping fuel into one of the cylinders. I had this happen with my SXR, ran like crap spewing oil out the back.

I got the dish soap out and scrubbed my driveway down after that ecological apocalypse.

Same thing happened to me when mine was running on one cylinder
