Thicken epoxy resin

I watch the Bob foothold video online and he said you can use baking powder to thicken the resin but now my resin still feels tacky but it's hard

You can use pretty much anything that doesn't have water in it. I use drywall mud to thicken on my plugs.

I think it's best to stick with the quality stuff for a build. Microspheres, fumed silica, talc.

If it's tachy, it might not be cured yet. It should cure with time or heat even unless you are way off on your mix ratios. The baking soda probably isn't making it tachy.

I have best results with the colloidal(fumed) silica. It absorbs all the resin so there is no tiny air bubble/voids in whatever you put it on. Some fillers do not soak up the resin ALL the way no matter how long you let it soak or stir.

As long as you don't need to sand it. Sanding fumed silica sucks. Talc sands much better. Microspheres sand great but leave pin holes so I try not to use them.
