Other Thinking of doing a 1100cc stand up.

I am new to this forum so I thought id start out by kind of introducing my self. My name is Jordan I am going to be a freshman at the Rochester Institute of Technologies. I am going there for Mechanical Engineering. Other than that I race motocross and buy and rebuild jet skis. I currently have two X2's both slightly built. But I just bought them. Then I have two 650s, two 550s, and a 300sx. Then I have a 550 hull complete without a motor, and a 650 hull that needs a motor and some other things. So my idea was to modify the 650 hull and get a 1100cc motor out of a kawi sit down or another ski. My idea is very similar to this guys
. I was wondering if you guys had an ideas on what I would need to do other than motor mounts, and some trimming. What exhaust system should I get? What prop using the 650 pump? Or should I get a diff pump? Use stock carbs from the 1100? Any other ideas or stuff I should know I am opened to anything, I am thinking I can get a 1100 out of a kawi either for free or for a very good price let me know. Thanks Jordan

Ya, thats the new thing now. The "Kawi-doo" is obsolete. They are getting more power from the 1100 and its pipe in the GP class. Let me know if you need a 1100 engine. My buddy just bought 12 1100 STX's that were rentals. I'm sure you could get a rebuilder real cheap.
Danm, he sure does go really fast in a straight line!

A Kawasaki engine will fit easier than a Yamaha. You will need a custom tank and muffler. Bond in the engine mounts wherever they need to be. A 650 has a lot of room up front so you can use a muffler, unless you like the redneck ghetto exhaust.

take an sxr you dont need a lot to do it is very simples convertion to do
you have to drill four point for motor mount the front holl on each motor mount will fit zxi 1100 motor mount no problem you need stx 1100 or 900 drive shaft the electtric box fit perfectly on the back wall you have to open the water box a bit and for the ex you need a u bend cost about 30$ and you done dont forget the prop
