ok, I am gonna say this, some people may get pissed off but oh well. I personally think it is stupid seeing people pay $7500 for some of these monster motors when there is only a few that can actually ride them to their potential. To each his own.

I drank the kool aid and bought a brand new 08 super jet. I don't even want to know how much money I have tied up into it but I know its enough to buy a bad @$$ carbon hull. I spent an insane amount of money to have blowsion install footholds, scupper and turf. Don't get me wrong they did an awesome job but it didn't add any value to my ski. I have also spent $2000 or so on various handle poles and steering setups. That doesn't mean I can tack on $2000 to my superjets value.

If you saw the OP's SJ on CL and it said over 25,000 invested, would you believe him? The CL seller says he has the receipts to back it up. I'm not saying it's true; I'm just pointing out that having receipts totalling X amount of money doesn't mean it was "invested" but just spent.

unfortunatly....you have about 6k in mods, and 12k in labor...which you'll never get back
this is painful to see....as its been stated before youre better off to strip off the the good parts and reuse or resell..
I have a rickter FS1 with a pretty nice motor in it, and a WDK F1 pro with a Xscream engine and have less money tied up in both of them as compared to your 09!
