are you flying into clearwater airport or one of the smaller private runways?

I'm flying into Clearwater Airpark, public airport. Radney said its right next door. Going over on Monday morning, my motor got here late this afternoon.

ok you take yours and ill rent a warrior pull out the back seat and fly down there as well. Instead of pump splashing we'll use our wake turbulance. do some spins. and get more air on our skis then anyone of these guys. lol

Speaking of wake turbulance, I flew it over to teamscream this morning. On the way back I flew through some wake turbulance, that the controller never said anything about. Man I have been in some very bad weather, but have never been dropped so hard & fast. I looked around to make sure the wings didn't fall off thats how hard it slammed me!

I asked the controller, he said oh yeah we had a MD80 fly through there landing at Tampa Int. Did think it would affect my route!

you should get a mag pump to handle the wake turbulance.

cool thread. let's see some pics of the saratoga. Clearwater Airpark is actually where I got my private back in high school. nice field and about 2 min from Chuckies.

Motor only sat 2 days, come on I just couldn't tape it up! Its now at Chuckies! I did pull the head that motor maybe has 10 hrs, if that.

Here's some Saratoga PICS. I rebuilt this plane after it had a hard landing (Hit parked trailer on landing rollout). Been flying it for almost a year now, Plane has a sale pending so I will be flying my A36 TN (Another wreck I rebuilt). We measured it today, Ski will still fit!!!!!

That is pimp! You have a legendary hull. Almost every old school pro has rolled or flipped that ski...plus it's the winner of the first build-off. I think that hull brought the original 'bling' to Freeride.
