I want to take his throttle cable off and strangle him with it. Otherwise, pretty cool.

What is up with guys constantly on and off the throttle?

it keeps the oil from settling (in the engine/ on the spark plugs) and gives the ski better throttle response for the trick. at least thats what i hear.
 
every freestyle skier at the kings cup was using the exact technique , i was the same thing and got the same response as you stop oiling up the plug and it crisp when they need it

Yes, your point is valid, but its also done to helps create a bigger, better set up wake. Did you see his set up wake? It was huge!
Definitely not a stock SXR hull in this vid...

That's cool, i didn't know it was also used to help increase the size of the setup wake. I'll try that.

Using trim, and being on and off the throttle both help to make a really nice set up wake.

There was a guy at World Finals last year, he rode for Bun, and he had a green and black SXR. Definitely not a stock hull, as he was doing flips, flairs and rolls no problem. SXR style hull, but it was definitely after market.
