This is the crazy Sh... going on in DFW for single trailers

Are they actually selling for that or maybe it's just the seller's strategy? I find if I put something up for sale on Craigslist for a fair price, I still get people low ball calls offering me 50% of the very fair price. So, I just delete my post and relist it a week later for nearly double so when they call and make the offer I get the price I really want.

Selection gets low, people go online to see prices and there is only one or two and those sellers have the prices jacked up, all a sudden everyone thinks those are the going prices. I see dealers do it at auction with cars too. Ford raptor is a great example. $50k trucks going for $40-44k at auction 2yrs old with 80,000 miles on them. My boss tried it twice, and both times we sold them at auction for more then any customer was even willing to talk about.

I sold 2 singles when I got my double; one for 300 and the other for 275.
they sold quick.
it is cheaper to get a WR500 on a single than to buy just the trailer!

I bought a mint single Karavan trailer that was a year old for 375 up here in Midwest iowa. See them on Craigslist alot for usually between 250 and 400.

I just bought what was pretty much a frame and rebuilt it from the ground up. All in it was probably $400. Not many used ones in good condition. They are like gold, unless you want to buy a new one for $1100. But again a good trailerable tote/cart is 12-1400.
