Can you describe the finish on both sides of the reeds? Glossy on both sides or just one?

I didn't notice any difference between the sides other then one side fit flush compared to the other.

So then are these just a layer of light carbon sandwiched between two pieces of glass and allowed to cure? The air bubbles would indicate to me a hand layup rather than infusion. Do you see any reason we couldn't make these ourselves?

As long as the tension is the same I don't see why not.

Ran the reeds this weekend in the blaster with the reed stops and huge improvement in the low and mid range. However, I also replaced the stock cdi with another stock cdi so that may have added to it. Next I am going to switch intakes with my SJ Carbon Tech reeds and see if I noticed any difference.
