This one time at ski camp....
Hehe, seriously this is a true story.
In the summer of 1999, a female friend of a friend came up and asked my buddy if she could ride his Seadoo GTX 800, he said OK. We were just sitting around and he didnt think anything about it. Well the next thing you know we look over and she is taking off without unhooking a 8lb. anchor that was keeping the ski off the beach. We yelled and she could not hear us. She took off full throttle and that 8 lb. plastic coated anchor was swinging around in the air all over the place nearly missing here head many times. We jumped on our stand-ups and hauled ass to catch her. We caught up to her and was waving and yelling and she just smiled and was waving back!!
I finally pulled along side her really close to where she felt uncomfortable and she slowed down and then she could hear us. We got the anchor unhooked and all was well. I could not imagine if her head would of gotten hit by that swinging crazy anchor! Holy crap, sincerely..
My buddy learned his lesson to give lessons...
