Those of you that ride alone, do you have a method to protect your ski while your away from it?

Ha
Didn't think of that.
I would want to ask them why they didn't just open the door.
Breaking the window wasn't required since it was unlocked...

Hi

Thoughts on a motorcycle alarm?

Would need waterproofing, but would serve as a good deterrent both locked or standing idle....

1200ft walk doesn't give them any time to steal it. If they did, they have to drive past you since you can't tow them on water. Chances are slim to none it will happen and I've never worried about it. Leaving it while going out on the lake is another story, but walking back from parking? Nope.

You could put a Sea Do sticker on it. That will deter most thieves.
Do most people not like seadoo? lol
That's all Iv ever seen when summer is in full swing.
I have only ever seen one other superjet on the lake, belonging to someone I ride with.

This looks like a good thing to lock my other ski to the trailer while I'm out riding the other ones.

Not sure where you ride. But her in nor cal the group's are so tight that you couldn't really steal a ski and get away with it. Far too much risk getting caught riding it or parting it out. You'd have to be an idiot to steal one.

Where I live ......if it's not locked it's gone....so I use a six foot long beefy chain and two stainless steel padlocks I bought from a Marine supply store in Cali. I wrap the chain around the handle pole close to the handlebars and lock it and then again either to my beach dolly if there is nothing else close, or to a fixture of any kind at the waters edge.....its very obviously locked and 99 % of would be thieves are deterred enough not to even try and steal it.
